MISSION: The community garden is available to NBOC residents for planting vegetables and flowers in pre-assigned garden beds. NBOC residents are invited to a meeting of the Gardening Club, held in March each year. At that time we determine the number of residents who wish to garden. Assignments of garden beds are finalized in May of each year. A small monetary assessment is made for members of the Gardening Club to support the purchase of equipment and supplies that might be needed for common use. In the past we also worked with Rashi students who wanted to learn about gardening.

Meetings: The Gardening Club usually meets in March, May and October of each year. Additional meetings may be held to deal with any issues that may come up.
